Is it possible to insert a custom METAR on Opus and make it simulate the weather?

If yes, how do I do it?

Yes. You just use the Import METARs From File option.

 

You can even use the pseudo GLOB ICAO code to set 'global' weather within a single METAR. See the Live Weather manual for details.

 

Other options allow you to Save/Load World Weather Themes, locate any type of weather in the world, and relocate the weather from any area on the globe to your current location.
