FS9 crashes the whole system by just saving a flight

Since I updated my Radeon 9800 Pro to the latest drivers Catalyst 5.11, I have very strange problems with FS9. The last two times Itried to save a flight my monitor went to standby and my systems didn't react to any form of input. All I could do was to reset the computer. Anyone else having problems with these 5.11 drivers?
