Hello, I was getting the same problem when I have reinstalled Windows, so here the solution : 

 

1- Reinstall / and make sure your Internet Network is working.

2- If this doesn't work please submit a ticket at PMDG Support here via this link : http://support.precisionmanuals.com/Main/

HOSTS file issue.

 

Use the following directions to find your hosts file:

https://support.rackspace.com/how-to/modify-your-hosts-file/

 

You will probably find some entries in there that refer to precisionmanuals.com. Remove them and save the file.

 

Please let us know how those entries got in there, however, as these are ways various programs use in an attempt to circumvent our activation process (as you have unfortunately found out).

 

 

 


Reinstall

 

Reinstalls - in most cases - are just a giant waste of time. I wouldn't recommend this at all unless you're absolutely sure it will fix an issue. In this case, it most definitely will not solve the issue.

Funny how he stresses "original"...

 

Did seem a little odd, but I'd attribute it to language differences.

 

I mean, if Germans used their grammar in English, "I need to go to the grocery store" would be "I need the grocery store to go," which sounds a bit more like a food order than a trip.
