November 30, 200520 yr I have two payware aircraft that taxi much too fast at minimum throttle. Frequent braking is required to keep the taxi speed within controlable limits. Does anyone know if something in the aircraft.cfg file can be modified to dampen the ground speed a bit? Thanks!
November 30, 200520 yr Author For turboprops, you might try experimenting with the condition lever(s). For example, Aeroworx recommends setting the condition levers to about 80% during taxi with the Kingair B200. I've tried this with other aircraft like the FSD Cheyenne and it seems to help. If the condition levers affect idle rpm (depends on the flight model) this will probably help.Dale Dale
