December 8, 20169 yr Hello, I have been having a problem with waypoints on a STAR loading to the FMS ever since I got the 525A. Once I finish selecting the arrival data and execute it takes me to the Legs page and all of the STAR waypoints between the transition (I enter this waypoint on the flightplan page) and the first approach waypoint are missing. I have to enter them all manually. Has anyone else encountered this and/or know the solution? Thanks for your help!
December 8, 20169 yr If you give your data entry steps I could test the same. Best Regards, Vaughan Martell PP-ASEL KDTW
December 12, 20169 yr Author If you give your data entry steps I could test the same. This is on Prepar3d v3... Enter the origin and destination If there is a SID, go to Departure and select the SID Go to FLTPLN and enter the waypoints up to the the Transition Go to Arrival and enter the STAR Press Execute and it takes me to the LEGS page and all waypoints are there as should be except for the STAR waypoints. I have also tried entering the departure and arrival first then filling in the rest of the flightplan. it did not make a difference for me.
December 12, 20169 yr I need the "names" of DEP / ARR airport, SID STAR and waypoints and when (each time) you press the EXEC key .... so I can duplicate the entire route on my system... and see if the results are the same. Basically, all the data entry steps you do I will try it the same way. Best Regards, Vaughan Martell PP-ASEL KDTW
