How PMDG and Dreamfleet helped my career.

Featured Replies

Hey all,I normally don't post or even visit the forums, but I just wanted to commend 2 developers for making products that actually helped my career in a small way.My flight school has a 737 glass cockpit trainer, and due to all my experiences with the PMDG 737 I was able to easily jump in and work the FMC and MCP quickly and effectively, and now because of this it looks like I'll be instructing in it soon. Also, last week I bought the DF Baron because I've been wanting a great GA plane for a while now. It was my first experience with all the latest Garmin avionics, and then last night somebody wanted me to fly with them to Key West in their Cessna 421, which was decked out in all that stuff, and he mainly brought me along to work the radios and GPS. I would have felt pretty lost and stupid had I not been already "familiarized" with his avionics by the DF Baron. I did so well he wants me to fly with him again. So, I just wanted to say something about these companies; they help justify the time away from my wife and money I spend on FS, and their products that I bought purely for fun have actually helped me professionally as well.

I am someone who wishes he could use that in his career, very cool! I agree they are top knotch add-ons. Well worth the money and time
