Saitek yoke powered on but not working

Featured Replies

I have the Saitek pro flight yoke with throttle quadrant, my third one. Anyways it has been working great until about two days ago when I load up into my A2A C172 and try to look around with the hat switch but I could not. I also could not move any of the control surfaces or throttle up. I just tried putting it into three different USB ports and installing drivers and software but nothing works.

You didn't mention it, so I'll ask two questions.

1. Did you check the Windows USB Game Controllers to see if the Yoke the Throttle showed up, and see if the AXIS worked?

2. Did you check in your flight simulator (not sure which one it is) to see if the proper assignments were still assigned?

3. For Saitek, it's often best to ensure you have the Yoke plugged into an USB 2.0 port instead of USB 3.0 Port.  USB is supposed to be backwards compatible, but that really isn't the case.

4. In your Device Manager, be sure you turn off Sleep for all USB Hubs/ports.devices... wherever you find it.

Best wishes.

Thank you very much for your help! I came back to my computer and checked in the USB Game Controllers and also plugged it into USB 2.0 and now its working.
