December 8, 200520 yr Ciao to all,I hardly get to see the rwy lights and the taxiway ones...Look at the screenshot at LIRF (RWY 25)HAs it got to do with the video card (i've changed the drivers)..??Or ASV settings??Thanx
December 9, 200520 yr Author Your screenshot is a little small to see much detail, but I'll give it ago anyway. They seem bright enough in the screenshot. From looking at it in AFCAD, it looks like they're high-intensity (which isn't all that bright to begin with do to considerations with a pilot's night vision). It could be your monitor brightness and contrast settings.----------------------------------------------------------------John MorganReal World: KGEG, UND Aerospace Spokane Satillite, Private ASEL 141.2 hrs, 314 landings, 46 inst. apprs.Virtual: MSFS 2004"There is a feeling about an airport that no other piece of ground can have. December 9, 200520 yr Thanx Jhon,I didn't touch the monitor settings..But if u say the look quite high bright..than I trust u..and keep them like this...It's strange vause untill yesterday I had the impression they were much more brighter...SO nothing to do with Ati drivers settings?
December 9, 200520 yr Author Well, your screen shot might look dim on your computer, but bright on mine. You say you haven't touched the monitor, so that likely wouldn't be it then. I'd check my display settings on the card after that, as they may have gottened changed. Drivers, in my opinion are a last resort as they have the potential of making things worse, which is why they always have a disclaimer on them saying to only update if you're experiencing problems.----------------------------------------------------------------John MorganReal World: KGEG, UND Aerospace Spokane Satillite, Private ASEL 141.2 hrs, 314 landings, 46 inst. apprs.Virtual: MSFS 2004"There is a feeling about an airport that no other piece of ground can have. December 9, 200520 yr >Drivers, in my opinion are a last resort as they have the>potential of making things worse, which is why they always>have a disclaimer on them saying to only update if you're>experiencing problems.Disagree here. Remember, any newer version of software incorporates the potential chance to have less bugs (maybe it brings new ones, though). So, my experience over the last 20 years is that updating is in most cases worth it. December 9, 200520 yr Author It is a disclaimer on the download sections of most video card manuafactures. I've had several instances where they actually made things worse.----------------------------------------------------------------John MorganReal World: KGEG, UND Aerospace Spokane Satillite, Private ASEL 141.2 hrs, 314 landings, 46 inst. apprs.Virtual: MSFS 2004"There is a feeling about an airport that no other piece of ground can have.
