December 10, 200520 yr I'm looking for a commercially designed and developed Commercial Jet (i.e. GulfStream or LearJet) of the quality of the PMDG folks. In other words, exceptional detail and realism. Could someone point me in the right direction? Thanks,
December 10, 200520 yr Hi John,I'm a fan of the Eclipse 500. :) Wondering if you've had any opportunity to get the door working? Some of the passengers been in there awhile - it's getting a mite rank! :)Thanks! -Ed-
December 11, 200520 yr "I'm a fan of the Eclipse 500. :) Wondering if you've had any opportunity to get the door working? Some of the passengers been in there awhile - it's getting a mite rank! :)"Thanks for the plug! With the release of FSDS 3 I may indeed get the door working. FSDS 3 is supposed to have a Boolean feature which may make it easier to cut the door without disrupting the clean lines of Dave Eckert's original model. I am waiting to hear the feedback on FSDS 3 before I purchase. It has to be stable, and backward compatible to FS2002 for me to give it a try. I hope to find out soon...-John
December 11, 200520 yr The Eclipse is one COOL bird. Unfortunately it is one of many I D/Led and never flew.John, if you get a chance, consider my latest "letter to the editor".Best Regards, Donny:-waveFLYing? It's cool. Trillions of birds and insects can't be wrong.
December 11, 200520 yr I haven't seen a Corporate jet with the level of resolution of PMDG. Eaglesoft has nice birds I hear, but currently lack FMS etc. They are pretty though . . . and Rob Young did some of their flight models IIRC.If you don't mind turboprop too much instead, I think the Aeroworx King Air is awesome. Throw in a RXP GNS430 or 530 and you have a top-flight dog (I'm not a fan of the included KLN94).
December 11, 200520 yr Hey All,OK John. It's just a bird I enjoy flying. I'll watch for the moving door version. If your into doing jets at all I'd suggest taking a look at the Sino-Swearingen SJ-30. A little 7 seater that'll 560 mph. Is that faster than the Citation X?Take Care! -Ed-
