Problem with memory offset.

Featured Replies

When I start RC en I get a popup with "problem with memory offset" and RC crass.

This happen after I hit the button "Start RC"

Any help appreciated.

Thank you,

Martin

Are you just loading RC to run with FS off line or with a flight loaded and it fails at the "START" button.

Be sure you start RC with run as admin.

Be sure you are running RC version 4.3.3845, the last version.

Be sure the dlls mentioned in the 713 are properly installed and current.

Please describe your Windows PC setup such as RAM, Win version, etc.

Is this the first time you are using RC or did this just happen.

Started FSXSE
Started RC as Admin.
Loaded flight from FSC
Hit "start RC"
System crass.
But this time I got a Runtime error9  "RadarContact.fsuipc.rc4code"

Downloaded new FSUIPC and installed, this is a registered version.
To make sure that I have the latest version of RC, I would like te download the latest version 4.3.3845 but where do I find it? Can you please send me a link?

Where do I find 713?

PC:
Win10-64
AMD FX8350 Black Edition 4.0GHz 8mb A Octa-core
ASUS SABERTOOTH 990FX R2.0-Socked AMD 900FX -4xDDR3
8GB 2133MHz PC3-17n 2x4GB
PNY Geforce GTX600 Ti-2GB-PCI-E

I use RC for many years and also in X-plane with lately te same problem.

713 is a pinned thread here.

What RC version comes up on the RC splash screen when it starts.

In the RC controller screen make sure if there is a gate specified it is just a letter and a number. I don't recall if a space is needed. Better yet leave it out. It does not do anything in version 4.

Please read the pinned "if you need help" topic. Error 9 might be something amiss with your flight plan format data. Be sure you are loading a .pln file.

Just test with RC and FSX running. 8GB with Win 10 might be low.

 And the problem was???

When I load a flight plan in RC out of FSX and made in FSX there is no problem, but when I load a flight plan made by FSC9 there is a problem.

Both are .pln files, therefore I suspect that the database of FSC9 is not the same as in RC.

RC uses the standard formats for FSX and FS9, that is html for FSX and text for FS9. Be sure for RC that you are exporting the correct format from (I assume) Flight Sim Commander 9. Other RC users are using FSC9.

If you like, you can paste the text of a short plan for FSC9 in a reply here I can look at. Be sure you are not using a proprietary FMC format for the plan input to RC,

I have loaded an FSX plan format created by fsbuild 4.1 into RC with an aircraft parked in FSX Steam Edition with no problem.

Today I made a flight plan in FSC9 and saved it in FSX.

Started X-Plane and started RC than loaded that plan from FSX in RC.

And it worked oké in X-Plane.

During the flight I did not get the proper headings but in the weekend i will try to sort out that problem.

Maybe it will sort itself out, you never know with FS, computers etc. ;-)

Could be your scenery database coordinates varied between X-Plane and FSX and FSC. Could also be magnetic database differences or a skipped waypoint not recognized because of scenery differences,
