January 4, 20179 yr Which files would you have to edit to change the class of an aircraft? Some of the a/c are 'Unclassified" as it appears the class wasn't specified in the model. ie the C-130 & X-15 are 'Unclassified', why not in 'Military' ? Thanks
January 4, 20179 yr I think this is done by loading the model into Planemaker and setting the type in one of the menus there, and then saving the model. This classification scheme is new in X-Plane 11. X-Plane and Microsoft Flight Simulator on Windows 10 i7 6700 4.0 GHz, 32 GB RAM, GTX 1660 ti, 1920x1200 monitor
January 4, 20179 yr Author Thanks Paraffin, I was hoping for an easy quick fix, will have to wait some time before I dare get into planemaker. Hope you are enjoying xplane11 as much as I am.
