has anyone had a problem where the sim gets stuck in a loop.  When I load the sim, it doesn't matter what aircraft I put myself into or what airport, it loads up as the X15 being dropped from a B52.  Then it says that I will be dropped from a wing of a B52.  I click understand, it goes to the situation for about 5 seconds, no keys, tabs or controls work, then it goes back to the notification about being dropped from a B52.  This is making the sim unusable.

 

Any thoughts or solutions would be appreciated

Try deleting your Preferences and let them rebuild.

I had this once. Uninstalling en reinstalling x-plane cured this problem.

Thanks for the help. I was hoping I didn't have to reinstall. I will try deleting preferences 1st.

I have seen this before and can confirm that deleting the preferences is a cure.  You will need to re-set up XP though.
