DF 727 Excessive Reverse Thrust

Recommended Posts

Guest Ron Freimuth

>I've had a look into this and the reverse setting has never>been changed from the original files created by Ron Freimuth>and I'm inclined to believe it to be correct without proof>otherwise.>PG Reverse thrust setting was based on the value read from a full motion 727 simulator. About 5,000 lb per turbine. Just because N1 goes high doesn't mean it's as high as the normal thrust at that N1. Ron

Paul, I greatly appreciate your input, as well as Ron, Erick, and others. Great talents like you are the reason I've been enjoying this fantastic hobby since FS4. In a few hours I'll be climbing aboard ole N551PE for another "As Real As It Gets" flight. I'll just take it a little easier on the Pratt's when I pull the levers back next time.
