December 19, 200520 yr Ive been using Paypal for almost a decade, and never had a problem. As a seller, Ive had a few individuals who wanted a refund, for idiotic reasons, like they overspent, etc. As I guarantee Satisfaction, I OK it. However, Paypal requires that the buyer return the item in less than ten days. I believe they think they can keep the item, and get a refund, and really wanted it. No one has ever returned anything, so Paypal just releases the Hold on the money, and I lose nothing. On Paypal, like with any bank, you have to follow the rules. If a customer puts a hold on a CC payment, Paypal holds it. If you are a reliable seller, who has been verified over 100 times, there are no problems. If you get a lot of complaints, they may hold your entire account, but if they do, I believe it is due to SELLER error or violation of the rules. Many complain, not all complaints are justified, some people complain about everything they talk about, I just ignore them.
December 19, 200520 yr I have no problem believing that Abacus outsells Flight-1.Flight-1 has great aircraft, as do many other developers. But they all require some commitment from the purchaser to LEARN.I'm sure that the vast majority of people who buy Flight Sim and any addons - want an autopilot which works exactly like the default one - only simplier, could never consider a landing without a working ILS, have no desire for an FMS, etc. This hobby has always been about a small percentage of us deeply exploring the capabilities - while the vast majority of casual simmers support the development costs with their purchase.I hope Abacus sells 10 million copies of the A-380, and 15 million more copies of FS sell this holiday year.We need those guys to keep MS interested.
