I have a copy of X-Plane 10 which I bought a few years ago. I am not using X-Plane and have removed it from my PC. Can I legally give (not sell) these 8 disks to someone else?

If you are unsure after reading the EULA for X-Plane, a better place to ask would be Laminar Research themselves. The bottom of this page has their contact info as well as a place to ask questions: http://www.x-plane.com/support/

 

Also, this should probably be put in the X-Plane forum.
