Chaseplane always "not responding"

When I start up Chaseplane I am never able to click any buttons in the UI and after a few tries of clicking it crashes with it either saying Chaseplane has stopped working or Chaseplane is not responding. I have tried an re-install but no luck. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
