February 1, 20179 yr Dear PMDG, Thank you for the 747v3 (or II), it is without a doubt a wonderful aircraft with great performance! I have one quick notice. Maybe I am wrong, but I have been in the 747 cockpit quite some times and I googled some images as well, and I am wondering if the upper part of the main panel isn't a little too brown? See the images below. For sure you guys know more about the 747 than me so forgive me if I am wrong ! Cheers, Thomas Thomas Krol
February 1, 20179 yr Commercial Member The picture you are showing is of a 747-8i, not a 747-400, which has different hardware, and different colors. It's easy to miss the differences, but be rest assured that once we bring the 8i to you, we'll bring it to you with different colors where appropriate. Thank you for your purchase and we hope you continue to enjoy the airplane! Vin Scimone Precision Manuals Development Group www.precisionmanuals.com

I understand there is a difference between -400 and -8, however I have some photos made by myself (I can post one of them too if you like) of more than one KLM 747-400 flightdecks who have the same color as the -8.. Still strange but maybe it is some option for the company itself! Regards, Thomas Thomas Krol
February 1, 20179 yr Commercial Member This is true Thomas. There is such a remarkable number of options that it was just impossible to add them all, as much as we would have liked. We did include a fairly healthy amount though, and I hope you have fun discovering all of them. Vin Scimone Precision Manuals Development Group www.precisionmanuals.com
February 2, 20179 yr The first picture looks like it is dimly lit by the internal cockpit lighting (and it's misty outside). The second looks like it's in bright sunshine. You can probably find photos of the glareshield with colours varying from white to completely black depending on the lighting conditions... age, if it was painted over... etc. Which is the real Boeing brown?
