VHF Data Off ?

Featured Replies

Hi

I just got this msg during preflight work. Searched the FCOM and QRH. All I could find is that the C radio is not set to handle Data, ACARS.

No big deal but how do I set it back, have not had this msg before on previous flights.

Otherwise the Queen is working perfect, nice to handfly.

Hi,

you should notice down on the radio panel (normally in the comm 2 box) you'll have a frequency as well as DATA or ACARS. All you need to do is have that be the active frequency. If you can't see either of those then I believe you just tune past 136.00 and it will appear as DATA or ACARS.

Hope that helps and makes sense!
