Step climb entries?

I can enter set speeds in the fmc like the 777 but I want a line like in the 777 E/340S meaning economy cruise mode at a specific point. How do I do this, it says invalid entry? Thanks - David Lee

You cannot define cruise speed segments using the 747-400 FMC.

 

You do it old style When entering a NAT you set SEL SPD in VNAV CRZ and when exiting you select <ECON or <LRC same page.

On the FMC I can enter .83/340S
