Hello,

I have a question. Here is the condition. I have a macbook pro installed with windows 10 and the i have a sony vaio laptop installed with windows 7 in it. I followed froogle's video and every step to share my macbook c drive with my sony vaio using a home wifi. the drive o the mac shoes that it is shared and also shown in the sony laptop. But when i try to open it in sony, it says that access is denied. i also did the permissions stuff. still no success. If anyone can help, it would be grateful.

Could it be a UAC situation on the Sony Win7 laptop?

Just going to run a Chromebook and not upgrade to a Windows computer. Too many problems with the new Sims! 😱
Trying to keep peace and harmony and the will of Landru on the site seems to be a full time job!

UAC is a Windows protection utility that may be preventing you from accessing that shared file. It may consider that file as an invader. Google UAC for a better explanation.
