February 12, 20179 yr Hello, I have put in a few flights on the 747 now, and I have never got the winds uplink to work. I've seen this thread on the issue but it does not solve my issue. I'll describe everything that I do to get the data to upload. I create the flight plan in PFPX and export it. I then load the flight plan into the 747 by using the request route feature. After I load up the route, I get the message saying "WIND UPLINK READY". I make sure that the weather file is located in the P3D/PMDG/WX folder. I also make sure that the flight plan is loaded into ASN. Then, I finish off all of the performance issues and then go to the VNAV DES Forecast page and on the bottom left I see (>SENDSENT), but no data actually appears on the page. I never get a prompt to import the data. The page stays blank the whole time with with the (>SENDSENT) near LSK 6L. I've never had a problem importing the wind data into the 777 (in FSX) however. Is there something I'm missing? Thanks,
February 12, 20179 yr You must first load the wind for the route via legs page, after that you can load the des page wind. There is a setting for auto wind request or not. February 12, 20179 yr Author Ah yes, thank you. For some reason I completely forgot about loading winds into the legs page. Thanks!
