XPUIPC

Recommended Posts

Hi

I am new to X Plane 10. I was used to FSX with FSUIPC4 but XPUIPC needs a Server IP address I change the IP address in the \Resources\plugins folder to my PC IP address but message tells me that the IP address is wrong. I use a single machine.

For some reason the localhost IP (127.0.0.1) doesn't work on some systems. Just add 1 at the end (i.e. 127.0.0.2), restart X-Plane and see if the error goes away. If not, add 1 again (127.0.0.3) etc.

For me it was 127.0.0.4

Not very scientific, but it works for me. Most users who get that error seem to be lucky with 127.0.0.2

Johan,

Within the XPUIPC directory there is a ReadMe.txt file. That will help you with that issue.  Its a matter of finding the IP of your computer and change the xpuipc.ini file to match your computer's IP.
