True chaseplane mode in external views

Featured Replies

I love chaseplane cockpit effects, but I feel that we need more realism for external views.

Can we please have some true "chaseplane" aircraft drift effects in external views?

Camera shake effects provide realism in the cockpit, but aircraft drift in external views ads to the overfall cinematic effect and is great for video recordings and added immersion.

Something like this .....

Specs: Win10, 4790K, nVidia 1080ti, Saitek Yoke+Quadrant+Radio/Switch and AP panels, VRInsight 737 overhead, Virtual Avionics 737 MCP. 3 x 1440*900 main display + 1024*600 VDU display. NLR V3 Motion seat. Oculus DK2 CV1 HTC Vive VR headsets.

looks cool. i'd agree that some de-coupling or dampening of the cinematic camera's pitch/location from the plane could help a bit too. especially when you get into turbulence. it breaks the illusion and looks more like a camera attached to the plane with a stick, rather than a separate flying entity.

cheers

My thoughts exactly.

A decoupled camera would be an excellent feature, in my humble opinion.
