December 29, 200520 yr A mysterious background RF chatter on tower frequencies, after I land, has shown up and I can't find the source of it to get rid of it. I'm wondering if Editviocepack has put it there. Can anyone enlighten me on this one? I'll appreciate any comments.Lee Lee H i9 13900KF 64GB Ram 24GB RTX 4090
December 29, 200520 yr Turn off your vacuum cleaner. My cleaner in UK used to pick up long wave broadcasts occasionally (seriously). If that fails, throw out the mother-in-law and tell her that Christmas is over.MarkP.S. I'd be more useful if I knew the right answer! Running a copilot prog? FS Passengers? Etc. etc.?Mark "Dark Moment" BeaumontVP Fleet, DC-3 AirwaysTeam Member, MAAM-SIM[a href=http://www.swiremariners.com/cathayhk.html" target="_blank]http://www.paxship.com/maamlogo2.jpg[/a] _________________________ Mark "Dark Moment" Beaumont VP Fleet, DC-3 Airways Team Member, MAAM-SIM
December 29, 200520 yr EditVoicepack didn't "put it there", so to speak, but it did make it show up.One of the things I love about EditVoicepack is it removes the "Exit runway when able" message that the FS9 tower apparently loves to say. In turn, since that message is still triggered, they apparently replaced it with silence. Here' the kicker. There is background chatter on all FS voices from ATC, and some background ambience on other pilots communicating as well. Headphones really make this noticeable.Since the sound triggered is now silence, it plays a silent file, but the background ATC chatter is alot more noticeable.http://home.earthlink.net/~dawgfighter/sit...es/swvasig1.gif-Jeremy BurchSWVA4806 http://www.virtualswa.com/home.phpThe Ozark Dogfighter http://forums.avsim.net/images/wedge.gifHappy Flying!
