Disable Surface winds with real weather?

Featured Replies

Hi there guys, when I load real weather, when on takeoff the surface winds seem really strong and from side to side, I end up all over the runway and everywhere.Does anyone know if there is a way to disable the surface winds when you download the real weather like you can disable the winds aloft?Kind RegardsGavin Moss

I will try to help the best I can. More info would be great though. Dose this happen at all airports? Have you tried real world weather at a diffreant airport? Try a default weather theme such as "clear day" Dose this problem still arise?

FSUIPC has a section to disable ground winds.

With all due respect, perhaps you should learn some crosswind takeoff techniques and practice? Here is a decent how-to for reference:http://www.ufly.com/lessons/takeoff.html#cross
