February 25, 20179 yr Hello, I've read many times that loading a flight plan in ActiveSky will improve the accuracy of the depiction. Is this really the case? I'm wondering what is happening in the background to improve the depiction? It's sound like, to me at least, that the accuracy is better when I load a flight plan than without it. James Samino
February 28, 20179 yr Commercial Member Hello James, Loading a flight plan in AS allows it to generate an accurate briefing for the route you input and you will get more specific information by looking at stations along the route as opposed to wider area coverage. Additionally, you will be able to view the Weather briefing and get destination ATIS on 122.05 if you wish to use that feature. March 4, 20179 yr Author OK, thank you. I was aware of those features. I was wondering if there's a difference in the actual quality of the depiction or maybe performance benefits, since the weather only has to be loaded for certain points along the route and not globally. James Samino
