I'm a NGX flyer and I need a long haul plane.  Deciding between this and the 777.  I heard the latter has a feature that accelerates long haul flights with better time compression called auto cruise or something like that?  Does the 747 have this too?

yeah both planes have that feature. it works pretty well, up to 4x it works perfectly.. basically it will just gradually increase the time compression and then reduce it to 1x if there are navigation turns or turbulence or such.. at 8x or above it is sort of jarring because the sim will reload traffic every time it downshifts...but you can turn traffic off in that case and it will be smooth..
