December 31, 200520 yr Anyone is successfylly using the both in FS9? I want to be able to to pan with mouse in the SPOT VIEW and have normal TrackIR/Vector operation in Virtual Cockpit. As I said, the problem is that when they turned on both my veiw (or is it eyepoint) jerks regularly. How to solve it? I really need the both. Thanks.
December 31, 200520 yr I have both running without a problem. No jerky movement or whatever. Even the AIplane tracking mode works. As soon as I enable TrackIR it wil override active camera. Disable TrackIR and Active Camera takes over again. I have the neable/disable button assign to the space bar so it can easily be switched on and off.Alex

Question though what happens if you don't turn on/off mouse. Also did you map in TrackIR key Space to toggle it On/Off? If so, which exect setting did you map to activate panning with mouse in Active Camera? If you meant you assigned same Space key to "Toggle mouse panning" in the Key Assignments in ActiveCamera, I wonder how TrackIR does not override any other function on Space key? Many thanks, I'll try it now.
December 31, 200520 yr Or better could you please indicate what you changed exactly in AC Key Assignments to be the same page. Thanks.
December 31, 200520 yr Dirk,I would love to help. The problem is I never had to fix anything. It just worked from day 1. In, Active camera I have checked "Internal pilot view", "Enable wheel zomm in VC" and "Use mouse in spot view". The mouse pan is activated by my middle mouse button. And I have TrackIR toggle on the space bar. As soon as I disable TrackIR with the space bar I can do all I want with Active Camera. Or did I misunderstand you somewhere along the way?Which trackIR versiona are you useing?Alex
December 31, 200520 yr Ok, now I understand. You never disable Active Camera, just TrackIR. I was thinking to map the same key/button both to Toggle TrackIR On/Off and Toggle AC mouse panning On/Off. So you never have to disable AC panning when using TIR, right? My TIR version is 4.28final.
December 31, 200520 yr Or you can just pan with TIR and leave everything on. One thing you do need to, and this is important: turn off AC's head latency feature.
December 31, 200520 yr That is corrcet. I never disable AC. TIR overrides anything once it is enabled (except the head latency whih is automatic and realistic anyway with TIR).Alex
