Double Flight Plans at the same time

Featured Replies

I'm just learning to program the Level-D 767-300 FMC so I am confused in how can I fly a "flight plan" that I have programed in the FMC and ALSO use ATC from either FS2004 or Radar Contact 4. Will not both be telling or showing me something that is DIFFERANT from the other? How can you fly from the FMC and also a ATC at the same time? jerrycwo4

Get Fsnavigator which is a free demo for 20 flights. It lets you build a plan and export to both FS9 and Level D FMC. You then use Radar Contact or FS9 ATC to follow the plan. Radar Contact will do a better job...http://fsnavigator.com/

Hi Jerry,You have a couple of choices. I use FSbuild, a third party flight planner that once I have planned a route will export it into a format that can be uploaded into the Level D FMC using the company route function, it also creates the same plan in the fs2004 .pln format that is used by RC4 so once you have uploaded the flightplan to the Level D FMC and started RC4 they will be using the same plan, waypoints etc so you should have no problems.Another way to do it is to uses the FS2004 planner to create a flight plan, save it, then manually enter the waypoints into the FMC. You can then use the saved fs2004 plan in RC4 and again you should be good to go.Hope this is of use to youSteve
