Chaseplane will not come out of taskbar

Chaseplane has been working great until last update. Strange problem here ........ it is working correctly but it will not appear on the screen. I see it down in the task bar, but when I click on it nothing happens. Also in FSX, when I hold middle mouse button to bring up the onscreen menu, I can change views..... but if I click on chaseplane it does not appear. Any ideas?

Very strange. Have you changed your display configuration recently?

No I have not. Everything that have in taskbar works correctly except CP. I've tried changing resolutions in case that had something to do with it. I back up my system every 3 or 4 days so I can restore, but kinda wanted to figure this out in case it happens again. It's strange..... CP appears to be working correctly. I can change views with button on joystick and with on screen menu, but cannot get to interface to change anything. Any ideas on something to try?

I got it sorted out. No idea why this happened, but here's what I did.

Open the Chaseplane and perform the steps and see if it is working.

a. Right click on the taskbar.

b. Select “Task Manager”.

c. Click on “Application” tab.

d. Right click on the “Chaseplane” program.

e. Select the option “Maximize” and check if it is working.

It then only worked either maximized or minimized.

I then made a new shortcut to Chaseplane and set it to open in normal window in properties.

Make sure you have Chaseplane totally shut down before opening it back up.

This worked for me:)
