January 1, 200620 yr I usually fly small and intermediate aircrafts like Skyhawk 172R, Beech A36, Beech Baron 58 and King Air 200. I wonder if FS Flightkeeper is of any use for me? Best Regards Lars
January 2, 200620 yr Absolutely. It's suited to any make and model. Where it really shines is in flightplanning and that is indifferent to GAs or Irons.
January 2, 200620 yr HI Lars. I fly those exact 4 planes and I use FSFK on every flight! It is perfect for reviewing each flight, moving map, and developing your own performance specs for those planes (by reviewing fuel burns, time, descents, etc.) There is never any shortage of things to browse and review from a flight, including taxi paths, flight plans, weather, etc. It interprets AS6 weather and provides an overlay for the flight. I think FSFK is even MORE important to the light GA pilot (like you and me)who do not have a FMS. You will love it if you like the nuts and bolts of flight planning and review.
January 2, 200620 yr Author Thanks for answers! I have downloaded the trial version. Looks rather complicated. I guess I better read the manual ;-)BRLars
