Featured Replies

Have installed Traffic 360 on P3D V3. However I do not get any planes in sight, whatever I tried.

What am I doing wrong ? Please advise !

Hi Weyroth...

Welcome to Avsim !

I also use JustFlight's Traffic 360 - it is brilliant. I have it working well with v3.4.

Check that you have the correct folders installed:

I have a 'D:\Prepar3D v3.4\Traffic 360' folder which has 21 folders, with 3423 files.

I also have a D:\Prepar3D v3.4\SimObjects\'JFTraffic360' folder with 193 folders and 4.6GB of aircraft/vehicles & textures.

For example, the JFAI_A320_g1 folder, one of the 193 Aircraft folders, has 44 texture files.

Can you check whether you have these folders and contents ?

If not, I'd suggest a check of your settings and a re-install.

Regards

Bill

Thanks Bill !

i followed your advise but it did not work.

I even reinstalled 360, however it produced the same result.

Could somewhere in a config some setting(s) be wrong ?

Remeber P3D has a seperate CFG file to list all Simobjects folders - the T360 install will have updated FSX.CFG I suspect and the entry for the T360 AI models will need to be copied to the new file.

Cheers

Oops !

I forgot about that, Keith.

Weyroth...

Try this...

Check your 'Simobjects.cfg' in the 'C:\ProgramData\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v3' folder.
There should be an entry for 'Traffic360'. It is the last entry in my Simobjects.cfg.

If that entry is absent - P3d cannot 'see' any of its 191 aircraft in the '\Prepar3D v3.4\SimObjects\JFTraffic360' folder.

My 'Simobjects.cfg' entry:

[Entry.10]
Title=JFTraffic 360
Path=SimObjects\JFTraffic360
Required=True
Active=True

So add the above, with the next 'Entry' number, to your 'Simobjects.cfg'.

It worked for me.

Also - you may have to limit your ai traffic settings - when flying over UK2000's EGCC in my FSL 'bus it can become a bit of a slideshow..

Hope that helps.

Bill
