January 2, 200620 yr Recently, I have obtained bold red numbers in the top right corner of my main monitor display in FS9. As near as I can tell by monitoring the conventional display (shift+Z) it is my current framerate rounded off to whole numbers. I have no idea from where this display originated and have not to the best of this old memory knowingly installed anything that mentioned it. Not complaining, it is nice to have. Anybody else have this and/or know the origin? Thanks:RTH
January 2, 200620 yr I know ATI Tray Tools adds an OSD (on-screen display). This comes as part of the ATI drivers found on OmegaDriver.net.Jimhttp://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/pmdg_pf.jpg
January 2, 200620 yr You may also at some point have installed FRAPS; this also overlays the frame-rate numbers on your screen - top right by default. The numbers are usually yellow though they do sometimes turn red, though I forget why!
January 2, 200620 yr Thanks Jim:I'll bet you nailed it.I usually just install the drivers from the ATI site. However, as I have in the past I had a great deal of trouble getting the CCC to appear all of the time when I tried to get a peek at it with their latest drivers. The latest drivers also did not offer the control panel option in place of the control center. Therefore, I went to the OmegaDrivers. Thanks again:RTH
January 3, 200620 yr Thank you, I was wondering where this came from. I just installed an ATI board in my computer and this thing was there. How do you turn it off? I'm not at my computer now, guess I'll look in the ATI setup stuff.
