March 10, 20179 yr Hi all, A couple of years ago when I was flying in FS9, I remember using a airport navigation tool when taxing around an airport. It was similar to http://www.dbsim.com/aptgps/dbs.aptgps.htm but it was a freeware and it working in dashboard. Does anyone know the name of this freeware and where I can download it as I cannot remember? Thanks in advance Visit www.fsprojects.tk for my flight sim and train sim web sites/ "Tea, coffee, meal and takeoff are all optional. Landing is mandatory!"
March 10, 20179 yr Was it apchart by Holger Maas? It's in the library here: https://library.avsim.net/search.php?SearchTerm=apchart&CatID=root&Go=Search Tim Wright "The older I get, the better I was..."
March 11, 20179 yr Author That's not the one I remember :), but it looks like a great replacement so huge thank you. The one I had before was integrated into the dashboard somehow or as a separate layered panel. It's been a while since I was last on FS9 (at least 2 years nearly) so I can't remember :) Visit www.fsprojects.tk for my flight sim and train sim web sites/ "Tea, coffee, meal and takeoff are all optional. March 11, 20179 yr It's nice but it only reads the stock airports. Super VC10 into LOWI with PF3 at a cinema near you https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=298UDyNmgUA
March 11, 20179 yr Author That's ironic. I fly mainly to addon airports such as Aerosoft, FlyTampa, UK2000 etc. Visit www.fsprojects.tk for my flight sim and train sim web sites/ "Tea, coffee, meal and takeoff are all optional. Landing is mandatory!"
