January 4, 200620 yr hi ian,if you use the to/go switch for takeoffs in the default boeings, you'll notice that it gives you about 85% thrust for takeoffs which is much better than the 100%, up against the wall percentage most of us use for takeoffs. if you don't use the auto throttle just use around 85% and see how that works. check your fuel and payload weights too. william
January 4, 200620 yr Ive now got the PMDG working with only tiny stutters that I can live with! I did this by using the visibility option within FSUIPC! amazing what u can achieve! I just have one more question,.....is there any way to re-move the 2d bitmaps in the cockpit of the pmdg 737? (when u look left and right etc... like photo views) as I feel this will also improve performance!
January 5, 200620 yr While we are at it. I'm getting about 25 fps (in the VC). However, after programming the FMC, and as soon as I hit the ACTIVATE button, it drops to 7 fps. Anyone know why. Here is my system spec.AMD XP3200+GForce 6800GT1 GBytes of PC3200 ram
January 5, 200620 yr Ian - I'm not sure about removing the 2d views when looking left and right. All I can say is I probably spent hours tweaking fs so this plane could run smoothly. I often said 'FS9 IS THE ADD ON FOR THE PMDG 737!' I loved it that much....Keep tweaking and you'll soon start turning things 'up' again!Good, luckBest RegardsBoone,[email protected]"Flying a plane is no different from riding a bicycle. It's just a lot harder to put baseball cards in the spokes."
January 6, 200620 yr Do I understand you to say there is a merge that allows the DF 737 to run in FS9? Could you please point me to a file name? That has always been my best and favorite panel.ThanksJay
