Download of 747v3 update fails in OC

Hi,

I want to update the 747 to the latest version 3.00.8189 (from 3.00.8132), but the download always fails.

Generally, I have no internet connection problems whatsoever, and the computer is a pure P3D Flight Sim PC without any AntiVir programs.

After the update the PMDG_747QOTSII.dll is corrupted (because it's only partly downloaded, filesize ~25MB). Therefore, the 747 does not work afterwards any longer.

(I already have submitted a ticket but maybe someone here can help out, too.)

Most of the time, this is due to your anti-virus program getting in the way (a program downloading dlls looks a little suspicious, admittedly). Less often, this is due to poor speeds between you and the local Amazon AWS node.

No AV. Windows Defender deactived. Is there anything else that might interfere?

So, I assume it's the latter. The download speed from amazon is indeed very very low (~15kb/s) despite DSL 16.000 kbit/s connection.

Is there a way for an alternative download?

hi,

same problem for me with avast deactivated and 25 mega connexion. the update install blocked 2 - 3 minutes at the step 4 on 65, and crash at the step 10...
