March 18, 20179 yr When hand flying an approach, ILS or otherwise, when using the flight director but with the autopilot turned off, shouldn't I be getting altitude Callouts as I approach the runway? The FMC is programmed with the waypoints, altitudes, etc. in this case the ILS is tuned and I'm able to hand fly the approach. Just no Callouts. I'm not getting them even though they are enabled in the aircraft set up? Any thoughts as to why I'm not getting them? Really, it's much more difficult to land without the aural information. Help please.
