I'm far from an expert on the inner workings of P3D but I have to agree with you. After many years of FS9, FSX, etc., I switched to P3D 2.5 and have never looked back. Now I'm using v3.3.1765 Professional. The point is that after a few reinstalls over my time with P3D my hard and fast rule is to ONLY install P3D optimized addons. For whatever reason, when trying to port something else over I eventually end up getting trouble of some sort. Part of that is the Estonia Migration Tool (or so it appears). Whatever, the install log I keep for myself has in red letters: DO NOT INSTALL NON P3D ADDONS UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE. So far it's worked for me.

I've done a reinstall of P3D and my PMDG fleet and now have something hanging off the top of the vertical stabilizer. It looks like it's hanging by a wire and has a red bob or something like that attached. What is it and how do I get rid of it? I don't see anything in my aircraft setup, but maybe I'm getting blind. Bryan, I waited until I could double check but I do have the problem. I reinstalled the April 17, 2016 version (latest) and I use Button Control. Indeed, I get the Cabin Crew call at about 20,000' and Cabin Secure around 13,000'. Any thoughts on what might be going on?

I had the identical problem. The only thing I can think of that could have caused it (the only thing I changed) was an update to the FTX Library. Anyway, I checked and FlexNet had been disabled in Services. I reset it to Automatic and everything is working again. I hope this will be the answer for others.

Byron, Thanks so much. It's working like a charm. I've been flying the PMDG NGX with FS2Crew but splurged and added the iFly as well. FS2Crew makes it flyable. Thanks again (and please ignore the Support Ticket request).

I've installed FS2Crew for the iFly (button) in P3D v3.3. The main panel comes up black, with no way to power it up. Yes, I did install the update. I wonder what I'm missing, help would be appreciated to get this working. Thanks.!

Same problem here. See my post regarding updating FTX Central.

FTX Central was updating itself, combining FTX Global Layers, and then appeared to lock up. It now shows there's an update available won't download it. It's just frozen. Not only that, but whenever I attempt to go to the website I can't get there. Internet Explorer wants to open a file, or something like that. Is there a problem with the site? Thanks.

Any word on VAS usage? I read there's some question as to whether it's increased with this update.

I've always used the button versions but think I might switch over to voice. I'm sure this is a simple question, but what do you use when using FS2Crew with voice? I'm not too keen on wearing a headset. What are the alternatives to a headset?

Scott, I think I should do some more research. I did not think that Win 7 and Win 10 interfaced well together on a network. My supposition must come from the days when I tried to network Win 7 and XP together. I had a very difficult if not impossible time getting them to cooperate (at least that's my memory).

I keep thinking about going to Windows 10 and have read various pros and cons. I respect the members of this forum and wonder what you think. The main reason is that my networked laptop has died and it's virtually impossible to get a Win 7 replacement. My main computer is Win 7-64 but the laptop is integrated with several add-ons running at the same time. To switch now or not?

Dumb question, but please share your opinion. I've upgraded the client and content to 3.2. In your opinion is the installation of the new scenery 3.2 worth the hassle of uninstalling and reinstalling scenery add-ons? I read the update log but am not sure what the update will bring in real terms. Thanks.

Just like so many others, I'm just waiting for the Orbx objectflow.dll and the ASN update. Once they're available I'm ready to go. I have no fear of the v3 update.

In looking at the wing from inside by moving back through the cabin via EZDok, the wings looks only partially assembled. There are no flaps on the trailing edge and the slats are missing on the leading edge. I don't know how to post a shot to show. Any ideas? Thanks.

I've already asked this question about the Hawker 850XP which was kindly answered. How do you enable the ILS approach using the Flilght1 GTN 750 on the Phenom 300? What are the steps necessary to see the localizer and glideslope on the PFD? Thanks.... BTW, I'm sorry for being so stupid on this, but I just can't seem to figure the logic out. This is after many circuits around the pattern attempting to get it figured out.

Would someone give me the correct method of conducting an ILS or non precision approach using the GTN 750 intergration? Do I switch the CDI or OBS selector on the bottom of the 750 display and if so, to what and at what point when using the GPS in NAV mode on the autopilot? What about the PFD? Any help with the correct steps in setting up this phase would be appreciated. Thanks.

I must be blind or having a senior moment, but where can I see the fuel state (fuel on board, burn, etc.) on the XP with Bert's GTN 750 mod? I found something in the 750's Utilities, but there must be a way to see it otherwise - maybe a gauge? Thanks.
