AI Traffic Generator - Southwest Airlines KDEN

Featured Replies

Greetings.I just downloaded the PDF for Southwest Airlines and their new flights to KDEN. However my problem is I wanted to find a good traffic program that would allow me to enter this information and generate the flight plans without my having to write the entire text file myself. I have the aircraft I wish to use and the schedules right here in PDF.Does anyone have any recommendations for a program (payware or freeware) that would make this easy for me? I have heard there are programs that literally read schedules and generate them for you . . . how would I go about getting one of those programs?Even better -- if someone has already compiled the KDEN Southwest routes, I'd love a link as I do not have the time or resources to sit around for days writing text files for these routes.

If you are talking AI consider Ultimate Traffic 2 payware from Flight 1. Besides the base fee you can download twice yearly current updated schedules for about $5 each (that is for all of the airlines it includes, not $5 each airline). It is weak in cargo schedules so I downloaded others from PAI and elsewhere and excluded them from UT compiling.UT does real schedules and it also has a utility to add addtional ones. One weak area is that while its included afcad2s increase parking, they do not include airline assignments. I use afcad2s from projectai and other sources or those paired with scenery downloads. In those cases I just move the UT afcads to a reserved out of the way folder since FS9 can only acommodate one additional besides the default.A freeware option is to search the libraries here and elsewhere for SW AI traffic files. You can then get the ai models if required and use TTools (traffic tools) to generate the additional plan. Note that FS9 can acommodate multiple traficxxxx.bgl files.

I have Ultimate Traffic already :-) But it will be months before their next schedule release. They only do winter and summer. PAI I used as well for UPS and DHL and military routes.it is Ultimate Traffic's 737 Southwest models I planned to use for these plans. And unfortunately no one has published the SW files for KDEN yet on AVSIM.On the AFCADS -- I do the same thing as well. Using the same folder as UT, I'll put the updated AFCADS in there and name the UT AFCADS from .bgl to .xxx as a backup option. With that utility for UT to add schedules, though, the schedules have to already be in the flighplan txt format, which is what I am trying to do here without spending days at a time writing all of them (there are a lot of Southwest routes on this paper I have in front of me for KDEN alone).
