January 7, 200620 yr I found a great explanation of Turbocharged engines. (Not Turbo props or jets).http://www.lycoming.textron.com/main.jsp?b...bocharging.htmlBut I have a Q:In a Turbochared aircraft like a Seneca II or a Skylane, can I turn off the Turbo component and fly it like a normally aspirated engine on the fly (no pn intended); something like, turn of the Turbo switch or something.. January 7, 200620 yr Heck, not only can you not turn it off in flight, you couldn't talk a A&P mechanic into turning it off when he's working on it on the ground. Have you ever had a look under the hood of a T206 or T210. I don't blame them. Not to mention all the paperwork (337s and STCs) involved.
January 7, 200620 yr Author AY,I think, you figured it out from the other thread.Cause.. I want a Seneca I (Non turbo) fsim aircraft. :) Manny Beta tester for SIMStarter
