Ultimate Terrain question--how much space does it need?

Featured Replies

I'm thinking about getting UT, but I'm a bit tight on disk space right now. I can free up a total of about 4 GB, and I know the installer itself is over 1 GB. How much extra space does UT end up taking up once it's installed? And, since I have USA Roads installed, should I uninstall and delete USA Roads before installing UT?Lewis "Moose" GregoryRichmond, Virginia

The 2 main scenery folders take up another 2.5 Gb. You can remove USA roads first, since all the roads come with UT also.

Well , I start the setup file of UT-USA and it says 'space required' = 2.481 gigabytes for UT-USA That's what it says so I assume the installed files are pretty much that much in volume.

Thanks folks, I just bought it. :) I will juuuust be able to have enough space during the install (Flight 1 download, + setup files, + installation) and then be able to clean 2 GB up afterward. Can't wait to see it in action!Lewis "Moose" GregoryRichmond, Virginia
