Can't use ticket support system - says e-mail is in use, but not really?

I was trying to put in a support ticket. I didn't think I've ever registered for an account with PMDG's ticket system, so I tried to create one. The system says the e-mail address is in use. So I hit the Login button and ask to reset my password because of course I don't remember creating an account. Then, the system tells me the e-mail doesn't exist. Just for kicks, I search my inbox for something from the PMDG support system. Turns out I tried to register in 2011. I click the link in the verification e-mail I received to see if that still works. It says my e-mail has been verified. But the system is still unable to find my e-mail. If someone from PMDG could PM me for my e-mail or just tell me what I'm doing wrong that'd be great.

I am also following this because I had the exact same issue - sent one of the PMDG guys a PM here asking what to do but didn't receive a reply.
