FlightSimCon 2017 Event Information

Recommended Posts

Hello everyone!

We’re excited to bring you the 5th annual FlightSimCon event. Please use this forum as a place to receive updates and ask questions about the conference.

General Information and Registration

FlightSimCon 2017 takes place on Saturday and Sunday, June 10 & 11, at the Sheraton Hartford Hotel at Bradley International Airport, just outside of Hartford, Connecticut.

Registration for the 2017 event is open now, for the same low price as last year. For just $60, you’ll get access to the full event, all exhibits, and both seminar rooms for the duration of the weekend. Discounts are available for students and groups. Book now, as prices will increase on May 15.

With far more space than previous conference venues, the Sheraton Bradley hotel provides greater flexibility for conference exhibitors and attendees. Expect longer conference hours, a larger series of speakers and breakout sessions running in multiple conference rooms, and advanced check-in available on Friday.

Register for FlightSimCon 2017 at www.flightsimcon.com. Registering online in advance of the event is strongly encouraged, and offers substantial discounts from on-site registrations.

Sponsors and Exhibitors

To see the full list of sponsors, exhibitors and speakers—and to register for the conference—head to www.flightsimcon.com.

We’ve already confirmed the following exhibitors and media partners:

Hotel

The Sheraton Hotel at Bradley Airport is the host hotel for FlightSimCon 2017, as it offers airside accommodation with sightlines of the runway and terminal in addition to hosting the actual conference.

At this point, the discounted room block is full and the hotel is completely sold out for the event. However, there are several nearby hotels with reasonable rates. Some other hotel options are within a short distance of the Bradley International Airport are listed on our website. Please note that we do not have special room blocks at these hotels, but the rates are reasonable. Please visit their websites for details, or see the Bradley International Airport website for a complete listing of area hotels.

Attendees staying at local area hotels will need to arrange their own transportation to and from the Sheraton Bradley Airport. Most hotels have shuttles available for use, but attendees should confirm prior to booking. Uber and taxis are also available in the area; a ride to the conference venue is under $10 one-way.

Whova App

We have partnered with Whova App for the 2017 event. Access the conference schedule, receive important announcements, and chat directly with other conference members...all from your phone! Whova will be the central communication hub for the entire event.

We encourage all attendees to download Whova now! The sooner you join our event on Whova, the more attendees have the chance to see and meet you before and during the event.

Please download the mobile Whova app, and to join the FlightSimCon event. Attendees should:

  1. Download Whova for free via your smartphone’s app store
  2. Start Whova and search for ‘FlightSimCon 2017’ using the ‘Find Your Event’ feature
  3. Click the ‘Join’ button.
  4. Enter the email address you wish to be associated with for the event. Whova should automatically recognize you and ask you to create a password and profile. If Whova requests an access code to join the event, use ‘fsc2017’.
  5. Follow the prompts in Whova to create your profile
  6. Start exploring the app and networking with attendees as you desire!

Stay Connected

Between now and the conference, please download Whova, like FlightSimCon on Facebook, and follow the conference on Twitter for the latest updates. We hope to see you at the event in June!
