  1. FlightSimExpo is a brand new, community-driven simulation conference developed by the team at Boston Virtual ARTCC. As discussed in the press release, the event will be held the weekend of June 9-10, 2018 at Flamingo Las Vegas Resort.
  2. Boston Virtual ARTCC is behind the FlightSimExpo event in Las Vegas; it no longer has an affiliation with FlightSimCon. You're right that many of the FlightSimExpo team members were involved with FlightSimCon in the past. In that role, we worked closely with the flight simulation community. It was clear that flight simulation developers from around the world, led by FlightSimExpo top sponsor Orbx, were extremely interested in a conference in Las Vegas. A lot of attendees were looking for a change in scenery as well. As a result, the team from Boston Virtual ARTCC worked with the flight simulation community to develop and launch FlightSimExpo.
  3. Post a photo of yourself (and any other FlightSimCon attendees you may be traveling with) on Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram of your travels to FlightSimCon for a chance to win a 90 day subscription to Navigraph! Rules: Must use #FlightSimCon and tag FlightSimCon in the post. Make your photo stand out for the best chance to win! Winner will be announced Saturday morning at the conference and through the Whova App. Good luck!
  4. I don't have an exact count on how many handicapped spaces are available in the Sheraton lot, unfortunately. In the event that those spaces are full, we should be able to work with the hotel to find an appropriate solution. My advice would be to pull up front of the hotel and speak with a hotel staff member about the situation. It is likely that we can arrange to have someone valet your vehicle. If you do need to park in the overflow lot, we can arrange for the Sheraton shuttle driver to pick you up there and drive you back to the venue.

Parking All conference attendees will have access to free parking for the duration of the event, provided that they park in either the Sheraton Hotel’s parking garage or the dedicated FlightSimCon overflow lot. Many area hotels offer free shuttle service to Bradley Airport, including the Sheraton Hotel. If you are staying in the area, we encourage you to coordinate a shuttle ride to the event or carpool with fellow attendees. Uber and other ride sharing companies are available in the Windsor Locks area. Attendees driving to the event may park in the Sheraton’s parking lot, while space is available. However, we do expect this lot to fill up quickly on Saturday morning. Once the Sheraton lot is full, attendees and exhibitors will be accommodated in the overflow lot, as described below. Please allow ample time for parking and check-in on Saturday morning. The conference will begin with a welcome seminar promptly at 9:00am on June 10. If you need to park at the overflow lot, please first speak with the hotel shuttle driver located at the podium just inside the hotel lobby. The driver will provide a permit to place on your dashboard. To drive from the Sheraton Hotel to the overflow parking lot, use the following directions or this link. A picture depicting the overflow lot is available here. From the Sheraton Hotel entrance, head northwest on Bradley International Airport Drive Road Keep left to continue to Schoephoester Road Merge onto Schoephoester Road Use the left lane to stay on Schoephoester Road Turn left onto Cargo Road. Disregard the sign that reads “No Thru Traffic - Restricted Area”; you have authorization to drive on that road. Turn right into “Air Cargo East” Multi-Tenant Cargo Facility. Park in that lot. It’s about a 3-minute drive between the hotel and overflow lot. The walk back to the hotel will be about 8 minutes. If you wish, you may make arrangements with the hotel to have a shuttle pick you up. Thanks for your Support! We very much appreciate your attendance this year. This conference would not be successful without its attendees, and we are truly grateful for your continued support. Please contact us if you have any questions or need further information. We are looking forward to another fantastic event! See you soon!
  6. Although the details aren't up on the website yet, I can tell you that parking will be available in both the garage at the Sheraton Hotel (the conference venue) and an overflow parking lot on the airport grounds. Parking will be free for all attendees. The lot at the Sheraton Hotel will be first come, first served. Once that's full, we'll begin using the overflow parking lot. So if you arrive early enough on Sunday to grab a spot in the Sheraton garage, you should be able to leave very quickly. If you wind up in the overflow lot, it should be a short (< 10 min.) walk to your vehicle, or you can ask the hotel front desk for a shuttle ride.
  7. Good question! At the moment we're finalizing the parking details with the conference venue; I expect to have more information on our website within the next week or so. Let me get back to you shortly after that happens to make sure that I don't mislead you by accident.
  8. Hey there, This year, YouTube and Twitch streamers Jeff Favignano, Ty Shuff, and Alan Shafto will be exhibiting at the event and have plans to live stream interviews with various exhibitors and possibly portions of the seminars. I encourage you to follow those individuals throughout the weekend and watch the content they post; I'm sure they would also welcome special requests if you have one. Several media partners, such as AirDailyX and PCPilot, will be on site during the conference and typically post snippets or summaries of popular seminars that take place. Expect to see those posted shortly after the event (so not live, unfortunately). Also expect to see some live streaming via the standard FlightSimCon social media platforms (Facebook and Twitter). However, there are no plans to stream seminars in their entirety via a dedicated streaming platform. -Phil
