April 23, 20179 yr I down loaded a folder from paint livery's. Then click on it to open it. a window popped up and it read, open with, and gave a couple of choices, I thought I did something wrong. I didn't know what windows uses to open files for down loads, so I choses note pad. My question is, How do I get back to what windows uses and not what I chose. Thanks Stan Stanford Kenyon
April 23, 20179 yr You're going to have to give a lot more information than that. Given the many formats that liveries can come in, it's impossible to tell you what it is you need to do, given that we don't even know what plane this is for. Captain Kevin Air Kevin 124 heavy, wind calm, runway 4 left, cleared for take-off. Live streams of my flights here.
April 24, 20179 yr Author Windows 10. I'm trying to paint PMDG planes. Using the Avsim livery libraries. I click a down loaded livery file, window popped up asking what kind of app do you want to open with. Gave a small list, internet explore, note pad, note book, windows media. I'm familiar with note pad. Clicked on that. everything now is a note pad instead of PMDG's little orange box. I see what your saying. I don't know windows well enough to say everything you may need to help. What I'm going to do is, put the paint texture with the note pad next to it and see if that works. I'll let you know.
