New P3D, 737NGX graphic glitches?

I recently got a new computer and made the switch to P3D Academic. Installed PMDG 737NGX. When viewing the instrument panel, the gauges are black squares, and the other panels don't have active sites (the mouse caret doesn't change). OS--Win10 Pro x64. Antivirus software--Windows Defender. nVidia GTX1060     I installed both with Defender inactivated (I believe).

Sounds like you didn't follow the directions in the text file that is right next to the installer in the zip file. They're included here as well:
