Active Sky Next weather not matching METAR

Featured Replies

Ive been flying recently and ive noticed the METAR us completely different from what Active Sky Next is putting into FSX. Like the winds at SFO IRL were 270 at 19, but then in the sim, they were 180 at 22. That and the altimiter was way off. For example, IRL it would be 29.70 and in the game it would be 30.05. Anyone have an idea of how to fix this?

Hello Nick,

Can you confirm that you are running AS in "live real time" mode as opposed to historical or custom. You can see this in the Top left corner of the application window. If P3D loses connection to the data server (internet issue, local issue, server issue, etc) it will default to "custom" mode and you will need to switch back to live.

Thanks!

Nick,

If you are in live mode and having issues I would first recommend a full uninstall/reinstall of the program. If that does not work please submit a support ticket using the link below and we can provide further assistance there.
