April 30, 20179 yr Hi, How are you all doing. I am lately experiencing an issue with FS Real Time with my FSX-SE. Not sure if anyone has or had experienced this. When I start FS Real Time, I get windows installer screen, probably trying to update FS Real Time but it doesn't go beyond preparing to install and eventually get prompt unable to contact server. I tried to uninstall and re-install FS Real Time and I got an error message along the way saying SCNCFG argument does not exist :S Not sure what else to do here. Any suggestions would be very helpful. Thank you Bilal Asif Khan

December 10, 20178 yr Author I managed to fix this after my discussion from their support team who were very nice. It seemed there was a system file that got corrupted. as a result I had to do a system reset on my windows 10 machine. I ended up also removing fsx steam and it's addons and re install everything in logical manner. it was a costly fix but it did fix the issue. Bilal Asif Khan
