FireFighter X 1.79 has been released

The FireFighter X version 1.79 has been released today.

To update from a previous version, please download FireFighter X again from your SimMarket account and install it. It is not necessary to uninstall the previous version, but it won't hurt either.

If you already have a previous version of FireFighter X, please take note of the following:

in version 1.79 of FireFighter X the logic that is calculating the effects of a retardant drop on a fire has changed.
At default settings, it may be too hard to put out a fire now.

As FireFighter X remebers these settings even if you uninstall and reinstall it, please do the following if you find it too hard to extinguish fires:

-> On the drop control dialog, REDUCE the parameter "Unit size" to 100 or even 75. This will make your retardant more effective against fires.
