I read this in the release notes for 3.4 under "Prepar3D Scenery - Fixes and Improvements":

"Fixed terrain crack and spike in northern Alaska"

I know there were a lot of these cracks and spikes in FSX, I flew around one such spike in Greenland I think, it must have extended up to lower earth orbit.  There are some silly FSX screen shots here:  simtours.net.

I'm curious if anyone has encountered the Alaskan spike in p3d 3.3 and has a screenshot?
